Awareness & Security

Since 2017, our awareness concept “Wo geht's nach Panama?” (short: PANAMA) has provided low-threshold support for everyone. If you feel uncomfortable or witness inappropriate behavior, you can approach our festival crew or PANAMA guides, who can be identified by their stickers, wristbands or vests – they will assist you at any time.

If you ask our staff for the way to Panama, they will take you to a safe place without asking further questions.

A hotline is also available around the clock for service questions and anonymous support. Since 2023, we have additionally offered a specially designated Safer Space on the festival grounds as a protected place to retreat.

For us, solidarity and responsibility are the foundation for celebrating together safely and without worries. That is why we keep you informed in all situations through our various channels such as stage screens, announcements, the festival app, WhatsApp, festival radio and social media.

We ask everyone to look out for one another and support each other so that everyone can enjoy the festival without worries.
