Diversity

We place a high value on diversity, equality, and justice. We are firmly committed to combating all forms of discrimination and intolerance so that everyone—regardless of background, identity, or life circumstances—feels welcome and safe at our festival. We do not tolerate racism, fascism, anti-Semitism, political extremism, sexism, gender discrimination, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination at our festival. We take reports of discriminatory behavior of any kind seriously. In the event of specific incidents, our security staff and our Panama Guides (Awareness Team) are available as first points of contact to provide support. In the event of such incidents, we reserve the right to enforce our house rules and remove individuals from the premises.

We communicate this stance to everyone involved—from artists and partners to attendees.

In addition, we provide special restroom facilities for trans and non-binary individuals that cater to their needs.

Every year, our booking team works to put together a diverse lineup of established artists and exciting newcomers to promote greater diversity on stage. We make a concerted effort to increase the proportion of FLINTA individuals, for example through the GAMECHANGER Contest. As one of the largest festivals in Germany, we want to actively contribute to a diverse music culture in this way.
