Diversity

At our festival, diversity, equality and fairness are of great importance. We firmly oppose any form of discrimination and intolerance to ensure that everyone, regardless of origin, identity or life situation, feels welcome and safe at our festival. Racism, fascism, antisemitism, political extremism, sexism, gender discrimination, homophobia and any form of discrimination have no place with us. We communicate this stance to everyone involved – from artists and partners to visitors.

For trans and non-binary people, we provide dedicated sanitary facilities that take their needs into account.

Each year, our booking team works to create a diverse line-up of established acts and exciting newcomers in order to promote greater diversity on stage. Particular attention is given to increasing the representation of FLINTA* artists, for example through initiatives such as the GAMECHANGER Contest. As one of the largest festivals in Germany, we want to actively contribute to a diverse music culture.
