Energy

The type of power supply can influence energy consumption and the associated emissions. However, festivals often take place in rural areas where the necessary infrastructure for power supply is lacking.

We therefore place great importance on managing energy consumption in a way that meets actual needs and is as efficient as possible. To do this, we analyze how much electricity is needed at each location so that we can allocate it where it’s needed and avoid unnecessary consumption.

Since the existing fixed power supply at the Eichenring covers only a few individual connections, the festival’s power is currently provided almost entirely by mobile, fossil-fuel-powered generators.
